"Does love at first sight really happen? Is there a difference between love at first sight and obsession?

Davina Stuart, farmer and bestselling author of Second Harvest, shares a flight to Los Angeles with Hollywood's latest heartthrob, Quinn Thomas. Three hours of in-flight speed dating and Quinn's in love. Davina is not so sure. She's older and wiser. She'll settle for a one-night stand but he wants more. Davina's cows and her children are her life. She's not so sure about Hollywood and its glamour. Blue jeans, cowboy boots and her pickup truck are more her style. Quinn is tired of the plastic starlets, his empty bed and his lonely heart. He'd give up everything, including his career, for the love of a woman, his woman. Forever Love follows their whirlwind romance as the widow of two years, who thought her time for romance was over, finds love with a man who has to have her in his life, to love her forever.

My take on this book:
Davina Stuart has been a widow for two years, and to deal with the loss of her husband Ross, she wrote a book titled "Second Harvest" which became a bestseller  and is now being made into a movie. When she finds herself on a plane headed to LA seated next to Quinn Thomas a handsome actor, who tells her he wants to date her, she is certain this younger man isn't serious, and is probably just looking for a one night stand, something that she is actually ok with. What she doesn't realize is Quinn is tired of the glam lifestyle and has had dreams of his perfect woman, and turns out the woman in his dreams is Davi. Can Quinn convince Davi that he has fallen in love with her, and how will their lives ever fit together, she is a writer with grown children living on a farm in Canada, he is a Hollywood heartthrob who could have anyone he wants, thing is he wants Davi!

I enjoy reading stories where older women are considered desirable, and Davi is certainly that. Davi had sort of decided after her husband Ross had died that she would be content with her farm, children, and perhaps grandchildren one day. She certainly wasn't looking for a relationship, meanwhile Quinn was drawn to her immediately.  Deborah  Armstrong really creates a relationship that is electric between Quinn and Davi, and the twist of her wanting the one night stand while he wanted more made this story quite different. "Forever Love" allows the reader a behind the scenes look at how media seems to always be on hand where celebrities are concerned. There were several secondary characters that really rounded out the story, and kept the plot moving along.I also enjoyed reading about Davi's farm and her "girls" I could easily envision the barns, cattle etc that were a part of Davi's ranch. Ms. Armstrong provides the readers a wonderfully sweet romance, with a bit of sizzling heat, and the added twist of some suspenseful moments to make this a quick read that left me wanting much more!
