Great Day Every Day by Max Lucado ~ review

Who of us doesn't have a bad day once in a while?Thing is doesn't every day deserve a chance to be a good day?  Well in "Great Day Every Day" Max Lucado gently reminds us that it's really up to us how we will handle those days, and to remember that God is in charge, and at work in every situation if only we will let him.
Broken down into three sections:
1. Saturate your days in His grace.
2.Entrust your days to His oversight.
3.Accept His direction.
Each chapter is short and sweet and always wraps up with section called "Daily Compass" that sort of reflects on the chapter read. I like how the author intersperses stories from daily living as well as stories from the Bible. This book not only includes a discussion guide that steers the reader to different verses in the Bible but there is also a 30 day Day Changer which I am using as a devotional.Overall if your looking for  a book that will inspire and encourage then this just might be what your looking for, after all every day is a day the Lord has made so why not make it a good one?
This book was previously published with the title "Every Day Deserves a Chance."

Synopsis :
Do you see it? It's right there on the horizon, next to the morning sun? It's a chance and a choice. An opportunity to make this a great day. After all: "This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it."
But what of those days when the traffic snarls, airports close, and friends forget? Despite the hang-ups and bang-ups of life, every day is filled with the hope of a God-given purpose and promise. In Great Day Every Day Max Lucado unpacks Jesus' blueprint for upgrading each of your days to blue ribbon status: saturate your day in Jesus' grace; entrust your day to His oversight; accept His direction. Grace. Oversight. Direction. G-O-D. The perfect prescription to fill your day with divine power and peace and make it a great day every day.
This new title from Max Lucado has been previously published as Every Day Deserves a Chance.

  1. I like that he structures the book in small sections -- it makes a book like this so much more usable and accessible :)
