My take on this Bible:
Studying my Bible is something that I do daily so I am always looking for one that can enhance my understanding of what I am reading and I think this one does a good job because it includes seventeen hundred easy to understand word studies. The thing that's great about the word study is basically they are provided within the pages of the Bible instead of clumped together at the end, in a lot of instances the you will find the word study on the same page or very close to where the word is used in scripture. Speaking of that the word that is in the study is underlined in the particular area where it occurs in the corresponding scripture. Along with the word study there is also reference to other scriptures which actually lends to a great way to study a particular word in different scriptural settings. This would make for a great way to turn each word into a particular study of it's own. Another thing that I liked about this Bible is that the words of Christ is in red, something that isn't mandatory for me, but I do find it useful. Lets touch on a few of the features, the Bible has a sturdy hardback cover that matches the dust cover, I like that because I normally take of the dust cover and so having a colored hardback cover makes this an added bonus for me. A presentation page makes it perfect for gift giving and because this Bible is presented in the NKJV text it would be appropriate for a seasoned Christian or someone who wants an easier to understand translation. While the size of the print is okay I do wish that it would have been printed a little darker. Overall I feel like this would be a great beginner Bible for someone who wants to grow in their faith and increase their understanding of what the scriptures really mean based on the in depth word studies. The size makes it portable enough to carry to Bible study or church.
