My take on this Bible:

If your looking for a Bible for your tween or teen then The Jesus Bible just might be what you'r looking for. The NIV version is easy to read and understand but it's the many features that makes it a stand out Bible. First the hardback cover is sturdy  which will allow it to stand up to continued use. I love that there is a presentation page included making it a wonderful Bible for gift giving. One of the first features I noticed was the simplified family tree of Jesus, what a wonderful way for youngsters to trace the lineage of our blessed Savior. There is also a time line of Jesus' life, which is quite interesting. There are introductions at the beginning of each book of the Bible, daily devotions with an index in the back which allows the user to check off the devotions as they do them. Live Like Jesus application notes are peppered through out the text help you apply his teachings to the users life. Hints of the Savior/ Jesus Revealed highlight promises and prophecy, there is an index at the back of the Bible making it easy to find these promises and prophecies. Jesus through out the Bible are special  four color pages that highlight Jesus and his life. A nice concordance and several maps round out the features of The Jesus Bible.  These handy features will allow the user to really understand what they are reading by providing insight. Overall The Jesus Bible feels like an adult Bible that is geared toward youth, which will make it great for teens and tweens. Perfect for gift giving, an invaluable tool that will build a solid spiritual foundation for the user.
