Bob Miller spent twenty-one years traveling across North America and interviewing people from all walks of life about their conversations with God. He presents a cross-section of those conversations inToto Coelo: By the whole extent of the heavens. Not one word was changed, added, or deleted to conform to some personal or secular belief.
Thought-provoking and fun, Toto Coelo inspires its readers to laugh, scoff, and shed a tear or two. If you are like most people who have read this unique book, you will never forget it.

My take on this book:

The premise of the book Conversations With God by Bob Miller is simple, the author spent years zig zagging across the country talking to people from all walks of life about the conversations that they have had with God, while ultimately trying to get the answer to the question "Why doesn't Christians rush to hear what God has had to say to their peers?" After twenty-five thousand miles he gets his answer in Jeanerette, Louisiana.  His travels was like an adventure in themselves. They take him from Fort Bragg, to Las Vegas and plenty of stops in between. The descriptions of the areas he stayed in and the people he encountered provided a richness to the story, that captured my imagination. The time that he spent in Kentucky was quite interesting. My favorite though occurred in Las Vegas,  I could just imagine him sitting in a Casino and Redd Foxx walking in, the conversation that he had with is aunt about the meeting was very funny!

Conversations With God is a unique read that is chock full of wisdom that will uplift but more than that will make the reader think about the conversations that they have had with God themselves, and perhaps even have them questioning what they ultimately believe in! A book that I believe is worth reading and rereading, because of the gems of wisdom that I found inside. Sometimes funny, sometimes very profound, I found myself hooked, each person's conversation and answer had me  wondering what I might read next.  A very quick read that was written in a way that is easy to understand makes Conversations With God a book that  really is suitable for anyone looking for a spiritual boost!
