My take on this book:

"The Candle Classic Bible" is filled with 365 stories taken straight from the Bible told in such a way that brings to life the characters and stories from the Bible. The first thing that I noticed was the easy to use table of contents. For me I rarely read a book like this cover to cover instead I always like to read my favorite characters first and the table of contents makes navigating the book a breeze because it uses bold letters to highlight different subjects. Each story opens with the Title and then the scripture verse in which the story comes from. The illustrations that are found on each page really bring the stories to life. While this book is geared toward younger readers age 8-10 it will appeal to young and old alike. With 365 stories the reader will get a wonderful overview of the Bible. Easy enough for young readers but also interesting enough that it really held my attention. I think this book would make a great gift. A wonderful book to immerse your youngsters in the word of God, one that would work well as a teaching tool in Sunday School lessons or even home school.
