About Ephesians: Women need Bible study to keep balanced, focused and Christ-centered in their busy worlds. However, many find it difficult to set aside the time and discipline needed for an in-depth study. The Discover Together studies offer tiered questions to allow readers to choose a depth of study that fits with their individual lifestyles or schedules, even if they vary by the week, month or season

This insightful Bible study uses the example of Paul's church in Ephesus to show readers how they can be victorious Christians, living in God's Word, and free from sin. Part of the discovery series, the Ephesians edition includes tips for either individual or group use, inspirational sidebars and short, 3-5 minute teaching videos. Scan the video QR code in the book with a smart phone or visit the series website to watch Sue provide historical and cultural background, teach important truths found in each week's lesson, or ask thoughtful questions to encourage deeper discussion.

Women crave Bible studies that challenge them to grow in their faith. But after balancing carpools, sports schedules, or work deadlines, you may not be able to commit to another evening out of the house. Now you don't have to.

My take on this book:
I am always looking for ways to deepen my knowledge of the Bible so Sue Edwards study guide of "Ephesians" was perfect for me. I love that it is broken down into nine sessions, and found the tiered questions allowed me to vary the time I spent weekly depending on my schedule. From basic questions to the "digging deeper" sessions I found this an informative study about a book of the Bible that I had never studied before. The ease of navigation with this book was also something that I found useful. Each chapter opens with a short commentary and then provides the reader with the scriptures they need to read for that particular lesson, this is followed up with several questions along with the digging deeper suggestions that is peppered thru the margins of each study. Often when I do a Bible study there isn't enough space to always write my answers but not so with this one, the author leaves plenty of space for answers as well as note taking. I think this study would be wonderful in a group setting, but would also be perfect for individual use. A great beginner study, but because of the digging deeper segments a more seasoned christian would also find this an informative study as well. Overall, anyone looking to strengthen their knowledge of "Ephesians" should check out this book.
