My take on this Bible:
This book really reminds me of a Children's storybook Bible. The first thing that jumped out at me with this one was the beautiful illustrations, and eye catching colors. The way this book is presented is also quite user friendly. Instead of reading this book from cover to cover I preferred to use the table of contents and choose which stories I would read, and speaking of table of contents this book is broken down into two sections with stories from the Old Testament and New grouped separately. In addition to the Bible stories there was a section titled "Books of the Bible" which gives a brief history of the Bible. Another interesting section for me was titled "Covenants," which not only describes what a covenant is but also shares with the reader covenants between Jesus and his people.Another useful area for me was the sections that introduced us to the people of the Old Testament as well as the New. The thing that I liked about this section was that it not only listed the people but also gave us a brief introduction as to who each person was.
The construction of this book was nice as well. I liked that the pages were sturdy but easy to turn.I have been reading a story a day from this book for a couple of months and the binding is holding up great. Overall I really enjoyed this book, and actually found a few  Bible stories that I  hadn't heard before. If I could change on thing about this book it would be that there would have been a presentation page included at the beginning of the book because I think this book would make a great gift. A book that would be very useful for homeschooling, but it is also a great addition to anyone's personal library.
