My take on this Bible;
 
I am a huge fan of Max Lucado so when this Bible was offered for review I jumped at the chance, and all I can say is wow, what a great Bible!The book jacket is captures your eye and makes you anxious to see what's inside.
On the first pages of the Bible you are given a general introduction to the Bible, which describes the features of the Bible. There are life lessons, placed in the margins, each life lesson is broken down into situation, observation, inspiration, application, and exploration. This is an invaluable study tool for understanding whats going on in a particular Bible passage.
 
There are full -page devotional Bible studies scattered throughout the text. Christ Through the Bible articles which are helpful tools in understanding how the Bible is truly one story. New life in Christ articles are very helpful to bring you a closer walk with Christ. He did it for you verses which will reveal more about who Christ is and what he did for you. New Believer studies are short studies that will help you learn more about your faith. The Big Picture reading plan will help introduce you to key passages throughout the New Testament. A where to turn to when index is invaluable for helping you search out scriptures for various questions you may be facing.
