God and Dog by Wendy Francisco

GoD and DoGProduct Description

GOD AND DOG is a phenomenon. First appearing on YouTube, the video of Wendy Francisco's charming animated illustrations and moving song tells of the unconditional love of both God and Dog.
With over 2 million YouTube viewings to date, Francisco's story appeals to all ages, to animal enthusiasts, to people of religious persuasions, and especially to anyone who has been loved by a dog.
Now in book format, Wendy's touching narrative will be expanded on through additional lyrics, illustrations, photographs and some of the powerful mail that is continually being sent to Francisco.

Be sure and click on the you tube clip to hear the song that inspired the book.

My review:
In this little book the author is able to express the unconditional love of Dog and God, a book written so simply with beautiful illustrations and sparse wording, but with a powerful  message that  will touch your heart and make you profoundly thankful for the companionship of the dogs who love you, after all they are our furry children, and I for one know my life is much richer because of the animals that share it.

I think this book is appropriate for all ages and and would make a great gift for someone who has just gotten a pet or who has perhaps lost a pet.

Combining the love of Dog and God is a winning combination and I will definitely be purchasing a few of these for my friends!
Thanks to Anna at Hachette Publishing for providing me a copy of this book to review.

Here are pictures of my beloved pets, Abby is the yorkie, Marley snoozing on the sofa,is a boxer, german shepherd mix.

  1. Thanks for writing about this!

I wonder just how many of those 2 million views of the YouTube video were mine! I watch that clip often just so I can remember that God has provided me with so much love, at my fingertips, so I won't feel alone. I am loved, unconditionally, by an awesome dog. How can I deny that God could love me infinitely more than this? I might have to own a few copies of the book - for the people I meet who need to know what I know.
