My take on this book:
The American Woman's Bible shines the spotlight on the many influential women that has influenced history by sharing their brief biographies and quotes. Along with this we also get articles on Biblical virtues and how they  have shaped our nation. As someone who enjoys American history I love that this Bible shines the spotlight on the women who have helped to shape this nation.

A bit about this Bible, the first thing I always check is that there is a presentation page, especially if I think it would make a good gift, and this one has a very patriotic presentation page. The size of the Bible is easy to use and the print is very readable. The NKJV is one of my favorite translations, and the small concordance is handy. I love that there are handy indexes for the various people and topics, along with the various quotes and the biographies. I found myself turning to particular women to learn more about them. A great way to learn a bit about the godly  women who helped shape our nation. A great tool for homeschool, and the perfect gift for anyone who enjoys history. While this isn't a Bible I would use for my daily study, as someone who enjoys reading history it is one that has a permanent place on my shelf.

A complimentary copy of this Bible was provided for review.
