My take on this Bible:
I own several study Bibles so I was excited to see what the NKJV Apply the Word Study Bible might have to offer. Well the first thing I noticed was the size, it isn't a heavy Bible, instead it is a normal size, one that would be easy to carry to church, or Bible study. The cover is colorful, exactly the same as the dust jacket, something that I think is great. There isn't a presentation page, something that I always look for because I think it's nice whenever you want to present a Bible as a gift. Some of the features of this Bible include that the words of God in the New Testament are in red. There are plenty of application notes  that provide insight into how the scripture might benefit your everyday life. There people and places of the Bible notes that bring the time period to life, allowing a deeper understanding of who you are reading about. Full color maps and a concordance also assist in study. The print is a bit small, but it is useable. Overall, this little Bible would be perfect for anyone looking to learn more about the Bible, with its in depth side notes, and one of my favorite things were the think about it questions that were found at the bottom of many of the notes about people, places and things. This questions really made me think about the topics I was reading about. The one thing I missed in this Bible was the reference feature that I find in most study Bibles. Not your typical study Bible but still a useful one.
