My take on this book:

99 Prayers for Children is a beautifully illustrated book that youngsters will enjoy looking at while they read, or have read to them the prayers that are included. This is a very sturdy hard back book with a colorful cover that certainly captured my eye. Inside the first thing I looked for was a presentation page, and yes it's there, this book would make a wonderful gift, I could even see giving this as a shower gift for a new baby so the parent could read it nightly to their youngster. The prayers are simply written which is perfect for a new reader because they will be reading along in no time at all. The colorful illustrations are paired perfectly with the prayers. As an animal lover I loved the cats and dogs that were included in the illustrations, and one of my favorite had to be Thank You God which is based on Psalm 106:1 it really  put a smile on my face. Another great thing about each prayer is that the scripture reference is  included at the end so you can look up the scripture the prayer is based on if you so choose. Overall, I love this little book and think it would make a wonderful gift. Perfect for bedtime or anytime your youngster wants to be read to. What a wonderful way to encourage little ones to pray to their heavenly father.
