My take on this Bible:
The NKJV Foundation Study Bible is a compact study Bible that is light weight enough to carry while also providing several helpful study aides. First of all this version is the NKJV translation, which is an easy to understand version. I like the dust jacket because it is neutral enough that I feel like it would appeal to men or women. There is a presentation page making this a great little gift Bible. Some of the study features are study notes along with theological notes, and there is even an index of the theological notes making it easy to find specific notes for whatever topic you may be studying. There are brief introductions to each book of the Bible, cross reference and translator notes. There are a few color maps at the back of the Bible along with a small concordance. I do like that Jesus' words are in red in the New Testament, but I would love to see them in red in the Old Testament as well. Overall this is a great little study Bible whether you or a beginner or a more seasoned believer. Lightweight and economical makes this a great for gift giving, but also a great deal for personal use.
A complimentary copy of this Bible was provided for review.
