My take on this book:

If your looking for great advice on how to achieve and live the destiny that God intends for you then T. D. Jakes has written the perfect book for you. In todays world where life goes at break neck speed it's often easy to feel overwhelmed and get pulled from the course that our lives need to take, but it's when we find our purpose and live the life that we are destined for that we live our best life. T. D. Jakes helps us figure out the why's of our life, and in turn helps us achieve our purpose in life.

I am going to admit right now that this is the first book I have ever read by T. D. Jakes but it certainly won't be my last. His motivational style of writing is engaging, and practical. I love that he shares his own personal stories and insights while also steering us to what God has to say as well. His writing style is very relatable, I was left feeling like I had actually had a conversation with him. A few of my favorite lines in the book are Have enough faith to believe in God and yourself and know that together the two of you can accomplish anything! What a powerful life affirming statement! Mr. Jakes points out that we may have to step out of our comfort zone to achieve the Destiny that is waiting for us but like our own personal cheerleader he also reminds us that we are worth it. A great motivational tool for anyone regardless of where they are in life, because learning how to live our Destiny will allow us to live the life God intends for us!
