My take on this book:
The bright, colorful cover will certainly draw youngsters to this book, but it is the rhyming Bible stories, along with the stunning illustrations inside that are going to hold their attention as they learn about several of the most popular Bible stories. A compilation of twenty Bible stories that will certainly allow your youngster to learn about some of the Bibles most popular characters in rhyming story. I love that the author provides the location in the Bible for the scripture that each story is based on. A few of the stories include Adam and Eve, the story of Queen Esther, and Jonah and the Whale. While I did find a couple of discrepancies within the stories overall the author holds pretty true to the Bible. Overall I think Treasury of Bible Stories is a wonderful addition to any youngsters library, and would also work well for homeschooling or to use in Sunday School. A book that will certainly become a favorite with youth 4 thru 8, and I can easily imagine that even nine and ten year olds might want to read this one themselves. I found it a delightful read that would be perfect for gift giving.
