The NIV Once-A-Day Bible: Chronological Edition helps you encounter the Bible every day in a new and fresh way. It organizes the clear and accessible NIV Bible into 365 daily readings in chronological order so that you can practice the spiritual discipline of daily Bible reading within a new and different context.

My take on this Bible:
If you're looking for a traditional Bible then this isn't for you, but if you have ever been interested in reading Bible events in order this one is perfect. It is broken down into fifteen minutes of reading daily, and instead of each day being specific they are just numbered so you can actually start this Bible anytime of the year. There is a chronological index in case you might want to skip over something or perhaps find a particular passage. The Getting To Know God feature is something that I have encountered in other Once A Day Bibles and is particularly useful for a new Christian. Along with the Daily Bible Reading there is also a daily reflection that can be used as a daily devotional. Overall anyone looking for a chronological Bible that is broken down so that it can be read over 365 days will certainly find this one worth looking into. The NIV translation is easy to understand, which makes reading this Bible a breeze.  My only complaint is the font is a bit tiny, but useable.

A complimentary copy of this Bible was provided for review.
