My take on this Bible:

The NIV Read Easy Bible is exactly what it says it is. It's simply a larger font Bible that somehow managed to keep a slimline size. The perfect size for slipping into a purse or briefcase it is perfect for carrying to church. I love the soft feel of the cover and I have always been a fan of silver gilded pages which really provide a distinguished look for the Read Easy. The lay flat binding is an added bonus with this handy little Bible. A presentation page makes the Read Easy  perfect for gift giving. While there are footnotes peppered thru the Bible overall it is just a plain Bible that is a handy size with an easy to read font. The Read Easy has become one of my favorite to use during my daily Bible study. Recommended.
