My take on this Bible:
The New Spirit-Filled Life Study Bible by Jack W. Hayford is a great little study Bible for anyone, whether you're a more seasoned Christian looking to delve further into the word, or perhaps you are just beginning your study. The NIV translation is easy to read and understand, but it is the color coding that highlights the study helps that really makes this one of my favorite Bibles to use. Some of the study helps that I found useful were word wealths which are more than 550 key terms that are not only defined, but the Strong's Concordance numerical listing is provided as well, along with the Greek and Hebrew word that the English word was substituted for, cross reference is also included. I think this was my favorite study aide because I use my Strong's often and find it is a great companion to this Bible. There is even a word wealth index which makes it easy to locate the word wealths that are peppered thru the scripture. There is also Kingdom Dynamics which are 41 themes that are sort of like chains that can be followed thru the scripture. There are also in text maps detailed book introductions, and the word of God is in red which is something that I greatly appreciate. There are also verse by verse study notes that really aren't as detailed as some of my other study Bibles but overall they are ok. Overall I find this a very useful study tool and would recommend it to anyone.

A complimentary copy of this Bible was provided for review.
