My take on this Bible:
I am a collector of Bibles and while I have several NIV Bibles I have never had a Bible geared toward leadership so to say that I was excited to see what this Bible was all about is an understatement! Well when the Bible came I was most impressed with the soft, supple, two tone, lay flat cover. I loved the feel of the Bible not to heavy and the print is very easy to use size. Now on to the features of the Bible, because after all a nice cover can draw us in but it's the features inside that ultimately determine whether the Bible becomes one to use or just sit on a shelf. The way study system is set up is pretty simple. There are fifty two home pages each one will guide the user thru a five day study of what God says in his Word about a key leadership feature. The neat thing is if the user prefers to study a particular leadership issue for a week there is a table of contents for the fifty two home pages making it easy to find the particular topic needed. Also there is a topical index for quick advice on a particular leadership issue that the user might be pondering. If this isn't enough there are also more than 70 character profiles that highlight various Biblical leaders and again there is an index for looking up these character profiles making it easy to find whatever leader you may be focused on. With Book introductions and brief study windows actually nearly 650 peppered throughout the scriptures, that encourage the reader to dig deeper into God's Word there is plenty to like about this Leadership Bible. My only complaint with this Bible is that God's words aren't in Red, otherwise this would be a five star worthy Bible.
The NIV Leadership Bible is a must have for anyone who is looking to strengthen their leadership skills, but if you're like me and just enjoy learning more about God's word this is also a great tool. Again the only negative I really have is that God's words aren't written in Red.
