My take on this book:
"Praying God's Word for Your Life" is an easy to use book that not only provides a great foundation for a prayer filled life, but it gives some useful tips on finding time to pray, even if it's just setting aside a minute. The book is broken down into two parts, and after reading the first part, and putting into practice some of what I read, such as setting aside a bit of time daily, I then found myself using the second part of the book as a devotional, because it deals with topics on prayers for your life. The topics with these chapters vary from your marriage, finances,parenthood, or when you're worried just to name a few.I enjoyed reading the stories shared in each chapter and found the prayers and especially the scripture verses that went along with the topic to be very useful. I think this book is a wonderful resource,which would make a wonderful gift for any woman who wants to grow their prayer life. I could even see this book being used in women's study groups. A book that has found a permanent place on my shelves.
