May 1, 2013 Deadly Reunions (Book 3)

Investigative reporter Jillian Carter knows it's time to put the past to rest. She's tired of looking over her shoulder, letting a killer go free. She's no longer the scared kid who changed her name and disappeared. Now, no matter what the cost, Jillian must do what she is trained to do--ferret out the truth and expose it. Senator Frank Hoffman committed murder ten years ago--and Jillian watched it happen.

Didn't she?

Not even the enigmatic and attractive Colton Brady, her ex-boyfriend and nephew of the killer, will be able to make her leave this alone. Get ready for the spine-tingling, nail-biting conclusion to an explosive series.

My take on this book:

For ten years Jillian Carter let the past hold her hostage, always looking over her shoulder, but no more. She is going home, and she is going to prove what she saw all those years ago, thing is her ex-boyfriend Colton is the nephew of the killer. Her feelings for Colton never changed, but if she exposes his uncle will Colton be lost to her forever?

Whenever I want a suspense filled story that is a good clean read that has an inspirational bent I know I am going to find it with Lynette Eason. In "When A Secret Kills" the third book in the Deadly Reunions series I got everything I hoped for an more. There is plenty of twists and turns that really kept me guessing. Anyone who loves a fast paced suspense filled saga will certainly enjoy the Deadly Reunion series. I have read each of the three books in this series and would say that they do have to be read in order to fully understand what is taking place. A story sprinkled with romance, drama, suspense that kept me guessing right up until the end!
