My take on this book:
All of us have hopes and dreams, and no matter how big or small those dreams are, each one is no more important than the other because they are our God sized dreams. Sure maybe we put those dreams on the back burner or even decide to give up on them but its those dreams and desires that help propel us forward keeping us from settling from something less that God has in store for us.
"You're Made for a God-Sized Dream" by Holley Gerth, will motivate and inspire, it's really like having your own personal cheering section within the pages of a book. I found the book to be very informative, not only does it share the five lies that keep us from dreaming, but also how to help us understand what God's plan is for each of us. Written in a down to earth way, I felt like I was hearing encouragement from a dear friend. Each chapter is well thought out, and is very user friendly, I found the Go Deeper Guide found at the end of each chapter had me pausing not only to reflect on what I read, but also reflecting on where I am and where I want to be. There is also a Dream It Do It section that encourages us to put into action what we have gleaned from the chapter. Overall I think that God is working thru Holley to encourage and motivate us to be all that God wants us to be. A perfect gift for anyone struggling with where they are in life but also a wonderful gift for a graduate who is about to embark on their life's journey.
