DISCOVER TOGETHER BIBLE STUDY SERIES ALLOWS INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS TO DIG DEEPER INTO SCRIPTURE

Women need Bible study to keep balanced, focused and Christ-centered in their busy worlds. However, many find it difficult to set aside the time and discipline needed for an in-depth study. The Discover Together studies offer tiered questions to allow readers to choose a depth of study that fits with their individual lifestyles or schedules, even if they vary by the week, month or season
The newest series addition unpacks one of the most mysterious and misunderstood books of the Bible to help women prepare for their future with the risen Christ and be infused with courage, hope, and excitement for a life everlasting. Part of the discovery series, the Revelations edition includes tips for either individual or group use, inspirational sidebars and short, 3-5 minute teaching videos. Scan the video QR code in the book with a smart phone or visit the series website to watch Sue provide historical and cultural background, teach important truths found in each week’s lesson, or ask thoughtful questions to encourage deeper discussion.

My take on this Bible study:
I have always found the book of Revelation one of the books in the Bible that I rarely find myself turning to, not because I wasn't interested, instead it was because I never really understood it, and what little I did know came from dooms day prophets that were sort of preaching the end of the world. Well I am so happy to say that after using Sue Edwards "Revelation Bible Study" I no longer feel intimidated by this fascinating book in the Bible.

I found the "Revelation Bible Study" easy to understand. One of the features that stood out for me was that I could choose the depth of study that worked for me. If I was short on time I used the basic questions in each lesson, and really felt like I came away knowledgeable about what I had read. Other times I used the digging deeper questions which challenged me to do just that dig deeper for greater understanding. I have incorporated this study into my daily "Bible" time, by reading the lesson and then and then answering the questions over several days during the week. Usually on the weekend I find myself refreshing what I have learned and then using the digging deeper questions peppered along the margins to further enhance the weeks lesson.I haven't attempted any of the scripture memorizing but hope to dive into that soon. In addition to the workbook there are online videos that further enhance this study.

A fantastic way to really learn about the book of Revelation, and while this book is great for individuals it would also be perfect for use in group studies.

  1. I've never heard of a women's Bible study centered around the book of Revelation. Thanks for sharing, Brenda.
