You know Ruth’s story. Now meet her in person. And prepare to be changed.

Walk with Ruth as she travels from Moab to Bethlehem, certain of her calling, yet uncertain of her future. Hold Naomi’s hand and watch love put the pieces of her broken life back together. And hang out with Boaz, their kinsman-redeemer, who blesses both women and honors God, big time.

With best-selling author Liz Curtis Higgs by your side, you’ll tarry in the corners of their ancient houses, listen to their conversations, and consider every word of every verse until you can say, “I totally get the book of Ruth. And I see what God is trying to teach me through this rags-to-riches redemption story—he has a plan for my life.”

Girl, does he ever!

Think of it as time travel without gimmicks, gizmos, or a DeLorean: a novel approach to Bible study that leaps from past to present, gleaning timeless truths that speak to the heart.

My take on this book:
Ruth is easily one of my favorite characters in the Bible, and finding a book with such a catchy title like  "The Girl's Still Got It" that happens to be a Bible Study that revolves around the Ruth well, I became totally excited to dive right in.
There are so many things to like about this Bible study. First of all I thought the titles of each chapter were really catchy, such as Good Night, Sweetheart or A Wow of a Vow, each had me wondering what the chapter would be about.I found myself feeling uplifted and inspired as I worked my way thru this book, after all, the prologue is like a pep talk in itself, reminding each of us are a part of God's world plan. From the day God formed us in our mother's womb, God has watched over our every step, making sure we get where we need to go.

A great way to study the book of Ruth because this book takes us verse by verse thru the story, told in such a way that I felt like I was right along side Ruth, but also getting a fresh perspective on her story as well. A witty writing style kept the book moving along and even provided a few laughs for me.I think this book would make a wonderful group study and the author even provides a study guide for that purpose. There are also discussion questions included as well a top ten list of recommended books to further your study of The Book Of Ruth.

A complimentary copy of this book was provided in exchange for an honest review, and I can honestly say that I will be recommending this Bible study to my friends.
