Synopsis from Goodreads:
Breaking rules and breaking hearts

Free-spirited Chloe lives life on the edge. Unlike her soon-to-be married sisters, she isn't ready to settle into a quiet life running their family's newly renovated inn. But soon her love of trouble--and trouble with love-draws the attention of the very stern, very sexy sheriff who'd like nothing better than to tame her wild ways.

Suddenly Chloe can't take a misstep without the sheriff hot on her heels. His rugged swagger and his enigmatic smile are enough to make a girl beg to be handcuffed. For the first time, instead of avoiding the law, Chloe dreams of surrender. Can this rebel find a way to keep the peace with the straitlaced sheriff? Or will Chloe's colorful past keep her from a love that lasts . . . and the safe haven she truly wants in a town called Lucky Harbor?

My take on this book:
I have read this entire series and I think that this one is my favorite by far! It's the story of Chloe Traeger, the youngest of her three sisters who inherited a B&B and are now running it together. She was the only one of her sisters to be raised by their free spirited mother so  Chloe has always been considered the "wild" child.Chloe really never had a true place to call home, until she came to Lucky Harbor, and she is starting to realize roots and family can be a good thing. It always seems that if there is trouble its going to find Chloe. She soon grabs the eye of the local sheriff, Sawyer Thompson. What's going to happen between the good sheriff, and the wild child? Your  going to want to read this story and find out!
Even though this is the third book in a series it can easily be read as a stand alone work, but I highly recommend the first two books in the series as well so that read Tara and Mattie's stories, which were great! The author introduced us to Chloe in the first two books and I have been totally anxious to read her story. She is such a free spirited person, who suffers from asthma. Because she is limited in by that she seems to push the envelope, trying to get the most out of life. Really though we get to see another side of her, a side that is vulnerable, who doesn't easily share her true feelings. I loved the relationship that developed between Chloe and Sawyer, the banter was great and the sexual tension was off the charts. He was the perfect love interest for Chloe though, whats the saying about opposites attracting?
In addition to reading Chloe's story  the author allows us to reconnect with Mattie and
Tara and the men in their lives, which was great. I also love the quirky characters that are part of the town of Lucky Harbor. Easily one of my all time favorite contemporary romance series. As soon as I picked up this book to read I was easily transported right back to Lucky Harbor. A series where the author blends together great characters, romance, with plenty of sexual tension, with a small town feel. I highly recommend this series!
