My take on this Bible: "Baby's Little Bible" is an eye catching book of Bible stories that is sure to capture baby's attention. This is a book that actually comes in blue or pink, and for me I just love the soft feel of the cover, while it is a hardback book, it has a soft cushy feel that little hands will just love. This little book is divided in two sections, Old Testament stories and New Testament stories. The Old Testament section is at the beginning of the book and consists of nine stories, which are about God who created the world. The New Testament section consists of eleven stories that are all about Jesus. Each of the stories are beautifully illustrated with vibrant colors that just jump off the page. This little book would make a perfect gift, and I am certain would become a nice little keepsake that could easily be passed from generation to generation. I love the fact that the book also includes a page that allows the giver to put who the gift is for and who gave it, much like a real Bible. I really think "Baby's Little Bible" would make a perfect first Bible, what a great way to introduce youngsters to the word of God. Highly recommended! |
