Max On Life by Max Lucado ~ review

Max On Life: Answers and Insights to Your Most Important QuestionsProduct Description from Amazon.com:

We have questions. Child-like inquiries. And deep, heavy ones.
In more than twenty-five years of writing and ministry, Max Lucado has been the receiving line for thousands of such questions. The questions come in letters, e-mails, even on Dunkin Donuts napkins. In Max on Life he offers thoughtful answers to more than 150 of the most pressing questions on topics ranging from hope to hurt, from home to the hereafter.
Max writes about the role of prayer, the purpose of pain, and the reason for our ultimate hope. He responds to the day-to-day questions-parenting quandaries, financial challenges, difficult relationships-as well as to the profound: Is God really listening?

A special addendum includes Max's advice on writing and publishing.
Including topical and scriptural indexes and filled with classic Lucado encouragement and insight, Max on Life will quickly become a favorite resource for pastors and ministry leaders as well as new and mature believers.

My take on this book:
In Max Lucado's latest book "Max On Life" he tackles some of the most asked questions, in his simplistic down to earth manner, that is what has made him so popular today.
The questions are broken down into seven different categories that are, hope, hurt, help, him/her, home, hereafter, and the haves/have-nots. There are 172 questions answers included in the book, with answers that include spiritual reference that will enlighten and help Christians grow spiritually. Instead of reading the book cover to cover I found myself using the topical index that's included in the book to find answers to questions that are relevant to me. It is definitely a book that I will refer to often and has a permanent place in my library.

This book would be perfect for gift giving, and would be useful for pastors, Sunday school teachers or anyone who is looking for spiritual insight into some of to days most important spiritual questions.

I was provided a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
