Filled with characters you will embrace and characters you will fear, Blood of My Brother is a story about a quest for revenge and redemption you won't soon forget.

My take on this book:
"Blood Of My Brother" is a story about Jay Cassio an Dan DelColliano, they aren't brothers by birth, instead their bond is forged by friendship. A friendship that started when the boys were five years old, and witness the beginning of the Newark race riots. They remain close even though they took different paths in life. Jay became an attorney and Dan a private investigator. When Jay takes on case for Kate Powers who is divorcing her high powered husband, Bryce Powers, Kate winds up beheaded, and Bryce is found dead as well. When Dan is found dead in a Florida motel, Jay is determined to avenge his death. His investigation takes him on a dangerous journey that just might cost him his life.
This story takes the reader on a suspense filled ride, with enough twists and action to keep you turning the page to reach a satisfying conclusion. Mr. Lepore does a fantastic job of allowing the reader to understand just how strong the bond was between Jay and Dan. I really felt like Jay was willing to sacrifice his life to avenge Dan's death.
Overall there was never a down time in this book, it was fast paced filled with suspense and tension, with a bit of romance woven in to make it a very well rounded story. A great plot with interesting characters, that draw  you in for a story you wont be able to put down! Highly recommended!
