Don't Look Back by Lynette Eason Revell Blog Tour

Don't Look Back (Women of Justice Series #2)From the Back Cover

One man lives to see her dead--the other is fighting to keep her alive.

Twelve years ago, forensic anthropologist Jamie Cash survived a brutal kidnapping. After years of therapy, she has made a life for herself--though one that is haunted by memories of her terrifying past. She finally lets herself believe that she can have a close relationship with a man, when signs start appearing that point to one frightening fact--her attacker is back and ready to finish the job he started all those years ago.
Can she escape his grasp a second time? And will she ever be able to let down her guard enough to find true love?
Filled with heart-stopping suspense, gritty realism, and a touch of romance, Don't Look Back pulls you into its twists and turns to hold you there until the very last page.

My take on this book:
Don't look Back by Lynette Eason was an edge of your seat thrill ride from beginning to end! A book filled with suspense, romance and a chilling storyline that grabs you and wont let go!

Jamie Cash was the only person to survive the kidnapping and torture of the "Hero" a serial killer that she escaped from twelve years ago, with extensive therapy she is finally getting her life back on track, but when the "Hero" returns to finish the job he started, can FBI agent Dakota Richard protect her from this evil killer?

I enjoyed seeing  Jamie Cash's  faith and trust in God even though she is facing circumstances that might test even the strongest faith, she instead  finds solace in her faith giving her problems to God in prayer, actually I felt like it was her faith that kept her strong. Her character came off as very realistic, we saw true emotion from her such as anger and fear, feelings that I thought were perfectly normal for someone experiencing the horror she lived thru, and knowing she might wind up in the Hero's clutches again.

FBI agent Dakota Richard is such a sweet guy, he really cared for Jamie, I loved watching their relationship blossom, and Jamie  slowly finding comfort in him.He was determined to keep Jamie safe no matter what but could he really protect her?

Even though this is the second story in the Women of Justice series it can easily be read as a stand alone work. So if your looking for a page turning drama with an evil killer who likes to get inside his victims heads, along with enough twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat, and  read  how someones faith can help them thru even the worst of times, with a sweet romance woven in, then you must read this book! But a word of warning once you start reading you wont be able to put this one down!

Available October 2010 at your favorite bookseller from Revell, a division of Baker Publishing Group.”

Even though I was provided a review copy by Revell, thanks Donna, it in no way alters my opinion of this book!

  1. Sounds interesting. --Not crazy about the cover so if it wasn't for your review, I may have not given it a shot (ok, I don't always judge a book by the cover, but..)

  2. Jinky, I know what you mean about the cover, I couldn't believe such a great story had such a blahhh cover. I am guilty of judging a book by its cover, and I would never read this book except for the fact that it was a blog tour thing, but I am so glad that I did!
