Mind Warp by Ivy Webb

Mind WarpMind WarpI just finished reading the book called Mind Warp by Ivy Webb.It is a compilation of 13 short stories intended to scare you but will also keep  your mind working overtime to figure out what is going to happen next. These stories keep twisting and turning till the conclusion.

The first short story called Don't Forget to Remember is about the consequences a man must suffer when he forgets his anniversary. The descriptions the author gave of the things that happened really made me feel like I was right in the middle of the drama. I was kept on the edge of my seat thru this story hoping that one of the main characters wouldn't suffer the same fate as the man. Then just when I thought the unthinkable would happen the author shifts and puts an ending to the story that really took me by surprise. With each of the other twelve stories in the book the author has an amazing talent of getting us to think something is going to happen and then last at the last minute she grabs us and takes us to a totally unexpected finish.

Each of these short stories pull you in and you just can't put them down until the very end. I also found a little humor tucked away in a few of the stories which I really liked. If your a fan of such authors as Jack Ketchum and Bentley Little then your gonna love Mind Warp by Ivy Webb.
This book was given to me for review for Readers Favorite but in no way does it alter my opinion of this book.

  4. I'm really going to try to find that book. I was never a big fan of short stories but lately I've been reading more of them and it's surprising how something so short can give such a punch.
