My take on this Devotional:

"At the Feet Of Jesus" easily caught my eye, with is beautiful, but soothing cover. As I started reading some of the devotions I realized it had so much more going for it than just a beautiful cover. I really enjoyed the way each devotion was set up. They open with a Bible verse , then the devotion, a recommended scripture verse to read and then a reflection question.  

I am a long time user of devotionals, and actually have several in my collection, but what really stands out with "At the Feet of Jesus" are the Going Deeper sections which are featured once a month. They not only  allowed me to pause and reflect but more than that many of them provided useful ideas on how to grow closer spiritually to God. One of my favorite Going Deeper sections was for the month of September, which revolved around Bible Study helps, in which the author shares several  approaches to Bible study. Another great tool that is included in this devotional is a unique one year Bible reading guide. The thing that makes this guide different than most that I have used is that it alternates between the Old and New Testament. I am going to use this guide beginning Jan 1, 2013 in the hopes of finally achieving my goal of making it thru the Bible in a year. This beautiful book would make a wonderful gift for the NewYear. I have already incorporated this Devotional into my daily Bible study, and plan on using it thru the upcoming year.
