My take on this Bible:
I am always excited when I get an opprotunity to review a Bible and the IShine Bible from Tyndale surpassed my expectations for what a tween Bible should be. Tyndale sent me two copies of this Bible. So I am going to describe each. The one geared toward young ladies is in Lip Sync Pink, the cover is so soft and has stars etched into it. There is a ribbon marker attached to hold the readers place.While the outside of this Bible will certainly capture your eye its whats inside that makes this Bible stand out. The Bible is a NLT version and has three colored sections, for this Bible the colored sections are pink. Section one is titled You have value, section two is you have a unique identity in Christ and section three is you have a purpose to fulfill.
The color of the second Bible is called Backstage Blue and also has some goldish yellow on the cover as well. The cover has an etching of a young boy playing what looks like an electric guitar on it. The inside of this Bible is set up the same as the other one, except I would say that it is geared toward boys.
One of my favorite sections in this Bible is The Bible talks about section, where teens can find answers to questions they might have, and the answers are backed up with a Bible verse.I also like the fact that I really can't say enough good things about this Bible, I think any teen would truly find this Bible quite informative and its small size makes it perfect for fitting into backpacks or pockets.The only negative that I have with the Bible is the small print used, other than that I think its a cute Bible perfect for tweens and teens alike.
